"This low downforce...circuit"
Comical. Meanwhile all kinds of footage in FP1 showing high downforce rear wings.
I thought those were great pictures!Moore77 wrote: ↑11 Sep 2020, 12:37Isn't it annoying? That's the point I was trying to make.El Scorchio wrote: ↑11 Sep 2020, 12:30Come on. You're better than that. Surely.Moore77 wrote: ↑11 Sep 2020, 12:20Let me also join in with some images.

Do you mean the compression gives a bit more "downforce" on the tyres and thus they can pull higher lateral load briefly? If so, I guess that's the same as Eau Rouge where the turn up the hill gives a bit of extra grip - the crest at Radillon giving the opposite, of course.
Bit isn't that one of the things we love about F1? Nothing else corners like an F1 car (except maybe a modified ex-LMP1 Porsche...)
Absolutely. Wonder if turn 7 here might be the highest lateral G ever? Albert Park turn 11/12, Pouhon, Maggots, Degner 1 etc. come close probably.Just_a_fan wrote: ↑11 Sep 2020, 14:14Bit isn't that one of the things we love about F1? Last week's and this- both fantastic. The base design is the nicest one as well. So many of them are too cluttered now.Moore77 wrote: ↑11 Sep 2020, 13:08Agree! Very classical. His helmet designs have been usually very attractive.El Scorchio wrote: ↑11 Sep 2020, 13:02On a side note, Vettel's helmet design this weekend is absolutely lovely.
Absolutely horrendous, they could have really wowed us this weekend but instead choose to have the cameras zoomed right in on the cars giving us no sense of speed at all.
