Dont like this red flags. Run the safety car man.

DRS is strong here... So even if Bottas gets in front HAM might just DRS him.
Safety car out of petrol.

Guess we're hitting the 2h mark here
Does the clock continue during red flags?

He just can't match the pace of his team mate without taking more life out of the tyres. We've seen it time after time.
Bottas was in no clean air. Look at the track characteristics and the temperatures. Impossible to have better tyres than your team mate in the same car.

Just saying what’s logical. Other than that, I know Bottas is one of the worst drivers regarding race pace and wheel to wheel fight. Hamilton basically has no opponent in the current season.
Well then you can just argue he should have done a better job on the restart of the race and kept Hamilton behind him. He had all the cards in his favour earlier and he's played a poor hand.

With tyres I'd argue Hamilton is just kinder on tyres whether in traffic or clean air. We have seen it so many times. Hamilton just pulls a gap out slowly whenever he's the leading Merc, which Bottas can almost never do when it's reversed. Hamilton is always on his heels.

Safety car incoming.
You don't have to tell me what Bottas could have done better. I know that very well and that's been the story from the beginning on. Bottas has never been even the slightest of a match for Hamilton and will never be. All people trying to create this impression probably don't want to accept this reality. For whatever reason.
We need another car/team to be similarly fast/good as Mercedes to have some kind of a fight for the title.

Are we at the point where teams are down to just using whatever tyres they have left?

No, he's not. Fast driver but not a great racer.

The last Haas is being pulled out. So we’re down to 11 cars.

Edit. Scratch that he was being moved to the front to get him out of the way as he needed to unlap himself.

It seems the ones that predicted it would be a boring race got it wrong... It’s been quiet eventful!

It's not great racing, however.
Aside of course of the crashes... There has been plenty of overtakes, undercuts... It has been a good race so far... Albon was hunting Stroll and could have been in DRS in a few more laps and then on a fight with RIC

Anyone fancy soft tires for the last stint?
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II
