W10 > W11 in the wet.
Also did anyone else see the Y250 on the Red Bull? Hopefully we get another angle of that.

Hmm Perez got a bit too greedy! But well done Lance! He's proven he is handy in slippery conditions.

Albon a bit closer to his teammate this weekend.

Mercedes really doesn't like when its too cold or too hot.

Oh Lord. Ferrari. Good on the dry track here, but totally sucked in the wet today. Vettel out-qualifies Leclerc for once.

How is that artifical? It rains sometimes in Turkey you know. Also every driver had the same conditions on the track.
I mean i didn't understood the bickering yesterday already. It was and is the same for everybody out there.

Kind of proves that the car suits Leclerc a lot more. Today, when the car didn't suit either of them, they are equally matched.

The Red Bull is clearly head and shoulders above everything else in these conditions but Max is driving beautifully.
Ummm maybe not Lance Stroll take pole position
It was on the wets. The inters and that blunder from the RBR team was a game changer.

What that proved is that Mercedes did much too good a job making a car that is easy on the tyres. We've seen it at other time this year where they have struggled to get tyre temperature. The Tracing Point is, basically last year's Merc and that was very good at getting heat in to the tyres.

Well done to Stroll, Perez and the Red Bull boys - they still had to drive the laps and they did great job. It makes for an interesting race tomorrow. What odds that Hamilton wins the title tomorrow without being on the podium. It's his normal MO, after all.

My emotions are as mixed as the qualification results. I know it is a challenge and we want to see drivers showing top of their skills and fight with the conditions but on the other hand I had an impression that I would be able to go faster through last 3 corners with my family hatchback.

Have to agree. All natural conditions which were fantastic for shuffling the pack and making for a wonderful session. The race tomorrow could be a classic as long as everyone can stay on the track. Particularly in the first couple of corners. Really looking forward to it! Would be fantastic to see a Perez or Stroll win, like Gasly in Monza.

Hamilton said that they were struggling because there are fundamental things on the car that you can't change. I wonder what he meant by that? Starting 5th and 7th means something isn't working in these conditions, could cold water be affecting their brake ducts? Not enough temperature difference between the cross over duct and the brake and rim exhaust?

It wasn't a blunder. Maybe the first lap on inters was bad, but then Verstappen was stuck behind Kimi for 2 laps so tyres weren't in their optimal condition.. Had he had those laps clean, able to generate heat in the tyres properly, he could have gotten pole easily, since he lost by a few tenths only.
