Bottas was looking like he has an unbalanced car. So the wing damage makes sense too bad for Bottas but for how much of the race was he damaged because it seems like he was never able to drive the car.
He the most non Finish driver who's ever come out of Finland...
He said from that first corner with the Renaults. I haven’t seen a replay so i don’t know if he touched anyone.
They did touch??? If so it's totally possible I'm surprised the team didn't notice tho. I mean they pitted him a couple times minus well should have done a full wing change in the first pit and then he wouldn't have suffered as much it might have been possible for him to finish P6 with everything that happened. Because not only did Bottas have problems but Max and Albon ended up having multiple issues and then Stroll had performance loss so if Bottas would have had a wing change he would have been able to drive with more balance and had faster lap times and suddenly P6 would have been possible.
It's funny they "didn't notice".
But then again if it was tiny how could you. Loss of grip was everywhere so how could you identify that. Does anyone have an image of the front wing to see how big the alleged damage was... Because if it was noticed and ignored... They basically just wanted to give the Championship NOW to Lewis with the rain and surge up the field it set for a stronger looking stage. Made it more "amazing" because if Bottas could have caught more earlier he might have extended the Championship. I'm being a bit extreme and doubting Bottas and doubting Mercedes but Im curious if the damage was noticed... Or if it wasn't why wasn't it noticed?
