If Daniel doesn't have damage then this gap to Lando is quite unexpected, especially since he said that he was more comfortable on a long run with the car.
On the bright side of things, Lando is absolutely shining today, blowing Leclerc out of the water considering Leclerc qualified around 0.2-0.3 ahead. Very impressed with Lando today.

Lando now settling in the low 1:35’s, he was actually in within half a second of Bottas and Hamilton’s times for a while... But with the 8 seconds to Leclerc he should be safe in 4th spot... Ric is the worrying one, last lap he was one second slower than Sainz and complaining about the tires
At least Perez got ahead of Leclerc, so the points lost to Ferrari by Daniel, are gained by Perez finishing ahead of Leclerc. He may still be able to hold off Carlos though. Let's hope.
Very good race, the pace was way better on the long run compared to qualifying. ~0.8s off the leaders per lap, whereas last year I don't think there was any race where the long run pace was under a second. Finished nearly 13 seconds ahead of Leclerc with Norris, so that 0.2s gap on the qualifying flipped around today in McLaren's favor.
On the other hand, Daniel wasn't very good today, let's wait and see what is going to say after the race, but I definitely didn't expect this large gap between Lando and Daniel today (Lando on average around 0.4s faster per lap)
