You think there shouldn’t have been a red flag? With bits of car and styrofoam all over a damp track? Mclaren and Ferrari got screwed over big time.
Mwah, impressive if he'd do it in an aston martin. In a mercedes, it would have been more amazing if he didn't make it.El Scorchio wrote: ↑18 Apr 2021, 17:10Ninth to second in about 20 laps is a great recovery, whatever spin you want to put on it. Sure he got a big slice of fortune today but he still had to pass a lot of cars to regain second.Juzh wrote: ↑18 Apr 2021, 17:03Being gifted a lap, free wing change, using DRS to destroy lesser cars. Such good recovery Lets not get ahead of ourselves, he did what was expected to after the restart but that's all.El Scorchio wrote: ↑18 Apr 2021, 16:56Hamilton just got lucky today that the other accident happened so soon. That’s all there is to it.
But he’s likely going to finish second after being ninth which is also a superb recovery.
Or if he were Dutch and in A Red Bull too, I suspect...DChemTech wrote: ↑18 Apr 2021, 17:13Mwah, impressive if he'd do it in an aston martin. There's another reason too but we're not allowed to talk about that here!El Scorchio wrote: ↑18 Apr 2021, 17:14Or if he were Dutch and in A Red Bull too, I suspect...DChemTech wrote: ↑18 Apr 2021, 17:13Mwah, impressive if he'd do it in an aston martin. As three weeks ago, the questions "what the rules are" and "what the rules should be" are two completely different ones. And for the latter, it doesn't matter that something has been a rule for a long time.
Well, I think the only reason some people here are whining, is because the car they want to be disadvantaged didn't get disadvantaged!
Don't put words in my mouth, the stupid accident caused the red flag. HAM got lucky with being able to get a free minute and unlapping himself with no racing required.El Scorchio wrote: ↑18 Apr 2021, 17:12You think there shouldn’t have been a red flag?
