If they have only one and break it during Q1-Q3 ? The car is under parc ferme so they can't replace the floor with a different one (the old)
Makes sense, looks like they're trying to accommodate for the extra wear on the front left?gordonthegun wrote: ↑06 May 2021, 15:18From Barcelona: asymmetric front brake drums.

Larger drum on the right, so perhaps they need to keep tire temperature for turns 2 5 7 10, and 14, which are very critical corners. There's more to gain there than the nearly flat right handers. Of the right turns, turn 4, 12, and the final corner are the most important ones for lap time. But because they're long sweeping turns the left tires have no problem being in the correct window.dtro wrote: ↑06 May 2021, 16:19Makes sense, looks like they're trying to accommodate for the extra wear on the front left?gordonthegun wrote: ↑06 May 2021, 15:18From Barcelona: asymmetric front brake drums.

Looks like a similar diffuser solution to what Mclaren have done with the strakes just on the edge of the central part.gordonthegun wrote: ↑06 May 2021, 16:30High downforce rear wing and T-wing is back:

Here the diffuser. Ferrari said it would have been new in some form. Can anyone point out any difference?

Rear hot air exits big again.
Article says high downforce but I don't see any difference between this and the RW they used at Bahrain, Imola (race) or Algarve. All that's new is the T-Winggordonthegun wrote: ↑06 May 2021, 16:30High downforce rear wing and T-wing is back:

There are no strakes just on the edge of the central part, the light of the sun hitting that point is misleading.Sansovino wrote: ↑06 May 2021, 18:49Looks like a similar diffuser solution to what Mclaren have done with the strakes just on the edge of the central part.gordonthegun wrote: ↑06 May 2021, 16:30High downforce rear wing and T-wing is back:

Are you talking about the central section? You might be seeing the Trolley in the middle there; From previous imagines, I cannot see any major differences from this image...PlatinumZealot wrote: ↑08 May 2021, 01:55That is a veeery unusual diffuser!gordonthegun wrote: ↑06 May 2021, 16:30High downforce rear wing and T-wing is back:

The strakes are as usual in a bit more external position.
For quali and race they opened them up again.DIF wrote: ↑08 May 2021, 23:00They did slim down the rear hot outlet

In recent years Ferrari used to run conservative aero on fridays and switch over to "race spec" from FP3
