Can you imagine the forum members here if Mercedes had a tire blowout trying to run them to the end?

I'm not sure if there is a small enough dime in the world to turn upon!
How so? It will have been their own fault.
Hahaha fan logic is unconstrained by, well anything really.

Whatever the outcome of the race, we can all agree that it's been interesting to watch!

To be fair, unless Perez takes them both of they have a blowout, they won’t have actually lost anything by staying out. It’s a slightly different situation to Spain.

Perhaps he means the Red Bull fans will cheer themselves to sleep.
Maybe we get a conspiracy post about the FIA adjusting tire pressures to punish Mercedes. Stranger things have been said.

It probably would prompt a swift about face from fans of both teams, if anything at all.

Hamilton is doing PBs and everyone else on hards is doing the same, so Verstappen has no chance against him. Maybe he catches him at the last lap but overtake is a no go.

I make Bottas’ anger completely justified here. They should have got him in after Verstappen.

So, close or not at the end. What are the predictions? I think Hamilton 'my tires are gone' will pull out a Hamilton finish and hold Max off.

Agreed. Mercedes do do some weird things in the strategy calls.

Yeah, I agree. They left him hung to dry to something he couldn’t, and knew he couldn’t, do.

I wonder if he’s just nursed those tyres enough to make it to the end in first. What a superb drive it will be if he does it.

And a great drive from Verstappen as well , whether he makes it or not.

Max has got the tyres, it should be a easy win.

I mean, with the calls they (as a team) have been making, it’s justified.

Horner probably has a --- eating grin, whether they win or not.
