Vettel wasn't that much slower in pure pace, racecraft, tire management were bigger factors.
Kinda shocking to see Danny still this much off the pace as we are about to reach mid-season.

Max Verstappen had a seemingly easy afternoon near Spielberg as he lead the Styrian Grand Prix from start to finish, never even having to worry about a challenge from behind. Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas saved the day for Mercedes by completing the podium.
Just shows how good Alonso is. 2 years off and he's consistently beating Ocon after just 4 races.
There have been a lot of stories in the official/accredited F1 press concerning the 'unique' driving characteristics of the McLaren and how this has hampered Ricciardo.
I think Russell deserves more credit even now. The guy just out-qualified a Ferrari, an Aston Martin and a McLaren, in a Williams. This understeer is down to driver or just setup which is aimed to better preserve the rears?
