Auxilliary oil tank on the McLaren?

In addition, McLaren seem to be testing heavy fuel load on the super-soft to evaluate performance post-qualifying.

Kobayashi continues to be nuts.

Saw Rosberg with an inside rear off the ground going into one of the tight corners. Pretty cool.

Senna just lost his right rear wheel nut. Bits falling off the new cars seems to be a consistent theme.

that's what was reported initially on Twitter.. but i have my doubts.. there were sparks from the right rear and the car squirmed like the right rear brake had failed..
but at no point did the rear tyre look loose or wobble like they usually do when a wheel nut comes loose. :?

It looked a lot like a nut coming off the wheel on the replay. You could see a small hoop leaving the wheel.

I saw a cylindrical piece fall off too! But it looked like it may have come from the inside (side) of the wheel!

Seems like last year early on. Friday free practice is Nico's.

Note the wheel is leaning right over, so it would appear to be something like a wheel nut problem

My initial though was "their engine cover looks a lot like McLaren's, I wonder if they are doing the same thing?" But after looking a pics the Fi cover is too thin to be doing that (yet).
FYI, Force India and McLaren have agreed on for a technical partnership that sees Force India receive technical updates from McLaren (though late than the factory team) that include aerodynamic devices and any other technical improvement. So, it is obvious that VJM003 and MP-4/25 look somewhat (or almost) the same in bodywork areas. They also run the same engine, so their speed is just obvious.

I hope the term "technical partnership" explains all! :P
I dont know where you have heard they include aerodynamic devices and any other technical improvement!? They supply the whole rear end but Im not sure much else, they look the same due to them both packaging the same components. I know they also use the sim at the MTC but have to pay extra for use and Mclaren are very careful absolutely no data is shared when they use the sim. A whole new data feed is fitted linking the sim to FI HQ. Mclaren have no interest in helping out FI aero. Look at last year, FI was a better car for most of the year!!
