And he is learning well it seems. He managed to finish the rally however not without adventures, this time mainly the mechanical faults because of which he had to skip two SSs. He was able to drive the car using his right arm to change gears when the paddle stopped working. And as far as I know if you take back the penalties for failing to complete two stages on which he had mechanical failures he would be second in the WRC2 classification. Not bad at all.

People still have sweet spot for Kubica.

That from today's race in China:

Looks like fun... but that's gotta be like a pile-driver down the back. Good luck Robert.

Kubica rumoured to be testing on the Mercedes F1 simulator.

Great, great news if this is true. He will know the amount of improvement he needs to return to f1, whether it is probable or not.

"...secret [simulator] Formula 1 testing" Well, not so secret no more :o , if it even exists. Why Mercedes? OK, DTM tests connection was there but it's still rather surprising. I would imagine it's not the current or any recent car he'd be using.

It's obvious but it's a good shot of where the problem is:

Are all single seaters the same? Those Indy ones look tin-pot enough that you'd think it's possible to create 5 cm of space with a hammer.

The answer to your question is Toto Wolf, he has some connections to Poland(parents?), he's followed Robert Kubica's career and is a fan.
The speed of Ayrton Senna.
The mind of Alain Prost.
The dedication of Michael Schumacher.
The determination of Alex Zanardi.
