Improperly trained marshals results in Tom Pryce, Kyalami 1977.
LeMans 1955 catastrophe is also "training" "issue"?

I know you need to believe Hamilton and Vettel are the epitome of greatness.
And you really need to believe in the made up fact that today´s driver´s are a bunch of pussies...

It´s absolutely hilarious and shows that you simply are stuck mentally in the past. Like old folks you know.

Who said anything about Le Mans 1955?

I referenced what you posted and mentioned Tom Pryce at Kyalami.

Unless my eyes deceive me, I can't understand how 1977 equals 1955, nor can I comprehend how Kyalami equals Le Mans.

Would you care to explain how two completely different things somehow equal each other...?

I'll give you a slight hint...when talking about one subject, referencing an unrelated subject serves no purpose at all.

Ah but Nando...how much F1 have you actually watched prior to say...well maybe 2007/8?

Not that there would be anything wrong with not having seen a bit of the past mind you, but you seem to lack a certain ability to see beyond the present moment.

Ohh let me guess. for every 10th year of F1 watching you automatically gain 10 IQ´s???
No? ok so it was irrelevant after all?
but to answer your question. I´ve been watching F1 on TV for quite some years now.
And all the races i could not see like Senna´s era i´ve downloaded all of it and watched every race down to late or mid 70´s i believe.
And seen plenty of F1 documentaries about the 50´s-60´s-early 70´s.
I´m terribly sorry i haven´t watched every race on TV like you.
-
I´m the one capable of seeing "beyond" you are the one stuck in the 60´s.

And i actually watch things like GP2 and other lower formulas.

Why? Because that´s where you find the diamond in the dirt. When they get to F1 people who know, already knows.
You on the other hand knew it only when Mclaren signed a black person for 2007.

"who is this guy" i bet was your first words.

Even Schumacher kept a close eye on Hamilton throughout his GP2 career.
The guy is an exceptional driver, but apparently very few actually knows how good he is.
Alonso and Button have been trying to tell people like you but you are stuck in the 60´s as i´ve said.

Oh, and wasn't it you who brought Tom Pryce as somehow relevant to what happened to Léon Grisard at Masta Kink?

You'd spin because today's cars lose a lot of DF when not straight, but if you'll notice that March didn't require near as quick of reactions as today's cars. I love past and present. Today has been slightly over sanitized, but I still believe Alonso or Hami could run with the best of any era.

timbo,

I referenced marshal training...had old Leon been trained properly, he might have thought twice about standing with his back to the track.

Had a marshal not decided to run across the track at Kyalami --good as his intentions were-- Tom Pryce would not have been killed.

Improper marshal training is a dangerous thing.

Some things just fly over your head.

It's ok...if Dr. Z and the Daimler board could be conned, why can't it happen to lesser men?

I have to say, Politician is a job for you.

Ignore everything, find something irrelevant, then use that for a new argument when things have halted in the original discussion.

Nice try.

Why Nando, you brought up Lewis Hamilton's skin color...I'm not sure how that was relevant to anything. You seem to be one of those people who focuses on such trivial matters.

I'm still waiting for your proof that the Porsche 956 was producing 800HP.

Frankly, the reason I have no interest in having much of a conversation with you is because you spent most of this thread trolling. You don't agree with some of us? Fine. Instead you get all bent out of shape and simply resort to personal attacks. When you learn how to not troll let me know. I might be interested in a discussion with you at some point.

As i said, like a snake sneaking it´s way around things you manage to do as brilliantly them.

Last sentence is hilarious because it just repeated what i said about you.
focuses on irrelevant stuff when the main argument is dead.

And unless you don´t have the IQ of a rock you should remember that it was never stated as fact, it was stated as a rumor which i said several times.

How about you posting quotes from Alonso and Schumacher? We are still waiting for it.

Most of this thread? Remember it was MY thread.
You are the one dragging this off topic not me.

Can you teach me how to not troll? Or could you only learn that in the 60´s when people died in racing cars?

Do you happen to know precisely what happened? Was there flags waved? Did the driver slow down enough?
If you have this info please share, otherwise you're jumping to conclusion.
And as far as Le Mans 1955 -- that's a fine example of what f1316 mentioned as far as not only drivers benefiting from safety.
