Lando said in his interview that he intended to give the position to Piastri as a payback from Brazil and that it wasn't a team order. Kudos to him. He might not be full championship material for now but he is the driver I would prefer to have in a team. Clean and respectful to others (especially teammates).

Less than an hour left for Race Qualifying. Let's see if the team can find an even better set up for Qualifying.
A true wcc material doesn't want gift from the team mate. He want to defeat him. I really like Lando!

That is true but when things are settled in titles there is no harm helping your teammate or being a better person. Remember Max not giving his place to Perez to help him clinch 2nd place back in 2022 despite already being champion? It was humiliating seeing his own team begging him to through team orders.

Senna was the perfect one as he could be ruthless when needed, clean as a driver and a good man by helping those needing help, saving lives like Comas for example, giving wins to teammates and advocating for safety in F1.

It's time for Qualifying. 1-2 is the target. For the moment it doesn't seem to be that easy to replicate that 1.21.000 but there are two more Qualifications to see what we can change. Others have improved since then.

Good result. Really tight at the top and we have every chance to fight tomorrow.

Even better, Ferrari are behind.

That is the most important today. We have Ferrari behind. All we need is to have both drivers in front of the Ferraris. From what I saw though Max Verstappen might be receiving a grid penalty as he is investigated by stalling Russell. The question is if Russell was on a timed lap. Strange that we couldn't replicate our Sprint Qualifying speed. At least the fairy tail of the dominating Mclaren will finally stop.

Lets finish ahead of both Ferraris, if this happens WCC is almost done. Tough qualy, I felt the place was better in Q1 and Q2 than Q3.

Let's go get WCC!

It was so suboptimal… what were we doing? Seriously?

If supposedly tomorrow we finish 3-4 with Ferrari on 5-6 then we gain 27 points and they get 18 with the difference going to 39 and considering how close teams are the championship is pretty much done. As long as the two Mclaren drivers finish in front of the Ferraris. The 2nd part of the year we can all agree that there is no dominating car and currently we have 4 teams that can fight for a win depending on conditions and track characteristics.

Max was indeed great and Russell seems to have found a mojo also. At this last part of the championship it looks like that 4 teams are able to win. The difference is miniscule.

Ideally, I want a 2023 Red Bull season for Mclaren in 2025. If not, a good tight season from the start would be really good to see.

Margins between the teams and then the development margins being so tight that it's unlikely to be anything less than a brawl next year.

I really hope it is. I hope Mclaren having 2 dogs will help. I'm unsure on Lewis at Ferrari, no matter who RB have in, will not be as good, and Merc have soneone old enough to be my son, so will take a while.
