It will be interesting to see if Mclaren has anything on the pipeline to address the low speed traction they are suffering from... I’m guessing the new floor was targeting this area.
The car seems to be fairly efficient and gentle on the tires, this has a big benefit on this high speed circuits and not suffering from overheating the tires, but when temperatures are below certain threshold they are forced to run more downforce to generate heat.
In any case, the car seems to be very consistent... The high speed corners helped them in Britain since they managed to create a gap big enough through the complex before Hangar straight to prevent RIC from overtaking Lando first and Carlos later in the race.
