well perforated disks are actually cross-drilled rotors, they are design to improve cooling without a brake ductI have a newbie question, by the way. Lots of road legal sports cars (like Porsche 911s) have perforated brake disks (steel, I don't know about ceramic brakes). However, from your amazing pictures all F1 teams seem to be running ventilated, but not perforated, disks. Is there any explanation for this?
