Ferrari ran assymmetric AoA wing at Imola 2003 (and maybe 2002, although I'm not sure), however it was a passive system (maybe some aero flexibility was exploited those days). Yeah and as I can recall it was only MS using such front wing.

Like here, the bottom plain has a varying chord length - Chord is from leading edge to trailing edge ;-)!

Just a mix up of names. Ive always known the wing as chord by span rather than length and width ;-)
