Rear view mirror drag

I would have thought that the restricted view from mirrors in any position and the image vibration problems would have motivated the FIA to regulate the inclusion of rear view camera and monitor technology long ago.
The rear view monitor could be included inside the helmet, with a wide angle paralax adjusted image. Job done and 21st century met.
