Either way times still don't matter. What we can probably safely say right now is that De La Rosa is at least several tenths slower than Kimi.

Don't forget we need to account for some 4 or 5 seconds due to fuel effect, and probably another half second to 1 second due to tyres. Does anyone know the fuel effect estimations for Jerez?

11:00 @eddstrawF1: It doesn’t appear that we have anything approaching the marbles that we had in testing last year. That’s not a big surprise as Pirelli put a lot of work into reducing the marbles. As you say, the early tests and races last year produced a hell of a lot of rubber off line, but that reduced as the season goes on. Off-line, from the parts of the track I have watched at, there’s no problem.

Several tenths?

I can safely say that HRT is 2 seconds plus slower at least. How you may ask? Kimi did 1:19.5 on mediums with god knows what fuel load. The HRT was hovering for the most part in the 1:27s and did a short stint 1:24(probable low fuel given that HRT aren't bluffing their speed).
Several tenths is way way off.

Several seconds more apt.
More could have been done.

can see the exit from sauber`s slot here, but no exit visible on RB8? Wonder if they have split exit`s travelling across the cockpit?

To get tire data with a car they already know and understand.
