Ferrari in a league of their own in S1. Merc still struggling with the US. RB a couple of tenths down in every sector.

Vettel was 4 tenths slower in S3 on his fastest lap compared to what he has done before. Question is if he made a mistake or if he cooked the tyres in S1 and S2.

Vettel has pace in hand. His first fast lap he was 2 to 3 tenths faster in S3 and he can find another tenth or more in s2 if he nails it all together.

That Ferrari seems so esy to drive, so stable, I have to say I'm impressed, they don't even look like they go that fast..

There is absolutely no chance that Vettel will lose pole, unless force majeure strikes of course.

My guess is that he was affected by Bottas disturbed air in S3

Looking at the speed trap data and Ferrari's S1 times they're definitely running less DF but that doesn't seem to hinder them in S2.

Why do you think they run less DF if their speed is better? And I'm not thinking about PU.

Wet Qually, certainly for Q1 anyway. This could mess things up abit. Could be a mix up with a drying track in Q2/Q3.
