So are Mercedes running with pasties under the engine cover to provide a warm lunch for all the mechanics? Their times look like they're either running heavy or running on a very slow engine map. Bottas looking happier than Hamilton again this week. Is Bottas 3.0 the real thing this season?

Croft being told to wind his neck in about the qualifying session. "Are you being paid by the scare tactic?" Brilliant.

He's paid by how much fake drama he generates.

Don't like being mean to anyone but I can't stand him. Watch sky feed but with BBC audio in UK. Can't deal with Croft "jokes" or the way he laughs (to cover for lack of knowledge) at others when they aren't trying to be funny

RedBull is a monster in sector 2.
Hamilton struggling in S2. Slower than a McLaren!

Looks like they are modifying the DOS configuration, or the front suspension.

If it rains tomorrow heavily and qualifying is canceled, Hamilton is screwed.

No, they would still try for Sunday morning and he would most likely be perfectly fine!

Mercedes 8 tenths away from last weekends Pole position, Max only a couple of tenths down on his Q3 time and Perez almost identical to his Q3 time.

Will they fit it in though ? a few years ago in Texas they did it, but Texas didnt have F3 F2 and Porsche Cup.

Really weird Hamiltons pace. On the ORF broadcast, they said that Mercedes said that Hamilton wasn't happy with the car and they were looking for anything abnormal (~13 minutes before the end of FP2)...
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. β€” bhall II

Again, they dont have the F2 and F3 races on a sunday morning in Japan.

If F1 run qualy on a sunday morning, they would have to probably move all the support races

It was already said on Sky that, if qualifying is a wash out tomorrow, FP2 results would be taken as a qualifying order.
