Of course they will. They have developed a V6 for 2014.

I doubt they will run again today. A brake failure takes longer to investigate than a wiring loom issue...

I think we might see the car after lunch, double check everything, then send him on his way.

Still......a dismal total of 26 laps worth of data out of ~12 hours of available testing time......not exactly ideal

it's mean nothing mate, they can stop F1 at the end of this year if they want. But i don't think they will do this, not because of the V6, but because they take Hamilton and a lot of new engineers, if this season is very bad, i think Brawn, Fry, and a lot of engineers would be fired.

I think he wanted to say aggressive instead of fast.
Shumi was aggressive.. very in fact.

Remember he punted Hill into the barriers to win WDC, and on his second "career" almost pushed Rubens into the wall at 190mph, attempting to "defend" his position...
Being aggressive on other drivers and being aggressive on car are two totally different things.
Fernando Alonso is the best pay-to-drive driver in F1 with the biggest amount of money behind him.

This.

It's a brake failure. Unless they find the problem and are able to fix it, this car won't run.

This is no argument...

They invested (dumped) BILLIONS of € into the "marriage" with Chrysler and what benefit did they have??

So developing an engine without ever using it... thats an easy task for Daimlers management board :?

Update from Jerez... we have traced the problem to the hydraulic brake line connecting to the right-rear caliper

MERCEDES AMG F1 ‏@MercedesAMGF1

The impact with the barrier also damaged the front left corner (suspension and associated aero parts)...

No news yet as to when we will be back out on track
