Leclerc absolutely nice again, amazing driver! But oh man, a missed 1-2... Vettel with a few mistakes in his last run.

Funny drivers in the car: Leclerc "bah, not a great lap " and takes pole by 4 tenths. Hamilton "woohoo, great job guys" taking P2.

I just can't believe how Charles keeps putting that huge .3+ into Sebastian Vettel! Every time!

Mercedes and Hamilton will be very happy with P2 me thinks. Amazing lap by Hamilton and Leclerc.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Hamilton is driving as good as he's ever been, how happy he's been with P2 the last two races which says a lot about what Leclerc is doing. Granted since the summer break, Ferrari is the car to beat but Leclerc is clearly driving Ferrari, the team.

We may finally see a real rivalry with Leclerc doing what neither Alonso or Vettel could do. Congratulations to him.

I wouldnt mind starting p2 or p3 this race.... its a long way and with that nice slipstream, p1 might be a sitting duck by then.

Respect for Charles!

So, Vettel walks into a bar, and the bartender asks...

And a very good lap by Hamilton, of course. =D>

Leclerc is stupid fast.

It will be an interesting race with Hamilton on mediums.

Without LeClerc Lewis would've had 3 poles (Monza, Singapore and Sochi) in the last 4 races and we wouldn't even know about this Ferrari turnaround. Both drivers absolute monsters in Q3.

Now I'm convinced that Ferrari has figured out the tyres. Four races in a row. Turns out this car did have that speed in it that was shown in testing. They now have the tyres working in there optimum temperature

Hamilton just replaced his repetitive phrase "best fans" with "Ferrari just have something crazy for the straights".

Yeah, Charles said himself that it's not the best track to be on pole because of the long run to T1.

I can see it being messy in T1. Perhaps a SC on lap 1?
