"On 17 March, the FIA World Motor Sport Council unanimously rejected FOTA’s proposed amendment to the points system for the Formula One Drivers’ Championship. The ‘winner takes all’ proposal made by the commercial rights holder (who had been told that the teams were in favour) was then approved.
So the WMSC believed the lie that the teams wanted Bernie's scheme more than their own?
I want to know if the WMSC has any kind of purjury rules. And I sincerely hope that the Journalists absolutely FRY Bernie in Melbourne by asking him:
"So Bernie, who was the person that lied to WMSC on your behalf?"
"Can you explain to me Bernie, how that person convinced the WMSC that the FOTA wanted the "winner-take-all" method instead of the method that was submitted by the FOTA themselves?"
And I hope that the Commercial Rights Holder is banned from any future WMSC proceedings, since technically, their responsibility does NOT include rule making, ONLY the marketing and promotion of F1 and its merchandise...
The reason that this stuff continuously happens is that no-one ever nails down the liars, and they are allowed to regroup, and come and lie again.
I just simply CANNOT understand the logic. How the hell did the WMSC believe that the FOTA wanted a system that was in direct contradiction to what they said that they wanted?
Rediculous, and I hope that this is settled and blocked for 2010 as well.
And for those "winner-take-all" supporters, don't fret. We will more than likely end up with ANOTHER championship that is down to the wire this year because that system in NOT being implemented.
I sincerely hope that you enjoy the 2009 season!
