I concede that the botched up pitstop robbed him of what looked like another easy win, but I'm still waiting for your explanation of how Vettel could not overtake Hamilton on track when he clearly had a faster car.
:D

Ferrari clearly the fastest car today which makes vettel's enormous lead in the wet even more astounding. Would have been interesting to see how he would have defended from alonso.

Looking forward to the German gp, let's see how the new rules really mixed up the field.

That pit stop by Vettel was genius......pushed right up to the point of passing and then pitted....worked like a charm...left Hamilton high and dry...and secured a jump in positioning...great thinking on Vettels part...lack of understanding by Hamilton...I reckon SV suckered him...

interesting & good race but pathetic stewarding, either you let them race
or you don´t, but measuring with different scales is just poor sport.

Autosport now reports that Valencia rules are to stand, Silverstone not. Does this mean that Silverstone points will be annulled as it's the only race with these funky regs? :?

So at which point exactly do you think they stopped racing Alonso?

Either way it was a great decision...it made no sense to get past LH just to pit straight after....

not really, its so much easier when leading in the wet, and ferrari's main problem is tire temp which is why the lacked pace for the first stint and a bit.
vettel made to look very ordinary today, couldnt find hisway pst hamilton in a much faster car, had the team intervene on his fight with webber and got completely left behindby alonso inthe final stint.

Not sure but for Vettel when he came out the pits after losing 10 seconds and giving Alonso the lead....then realizing he just wasn't catching him at all...Alonso took the opportunity and made it work...When do you think they gave up?

He couldn't get past, he doesn't know how to pass the best defensive driver on the grid.

Redbull was right to pull him in, i was prediction him ruining his race in some way trying to get past.
For Sure!!
