Great race by for Lotus, Kimi finishing in front of Vettel and Fernando definitely helps. Vettel had a taste of what's in store for him if Raikkonen joins RB.
The penalty for Grosjean was a joke.

Except sadly failing to qualify well, again :( and I say that as a fan of his. Let's hope he was right and they can make some adjustments to suit the tyres a bit better for him as well as they seem to for Grosjean.

This happend because they stopped too late. They should have stopped one lap or even two before Ham did. Even Mercedes missed the window, but Hamilton was able to overtake Button very fast and therefore didn't get any problems.

Kimi - what happens about fuel for the test?
Someone (Hamilton?) was disqualified a while back because he had insufficient fuel at the end. Was that during the refueling days?

LoL, quote of the day. Seems like you have to eat your words there.

That rule only applies after qualifying.

Eh? He lost the race because his RB is miles slower in a straight line, which around Hungary means a long wait to overtake.

Ah! Thanks. I was confused because it happened in one of the previous 2 races as well 7 nothing happened.

The penalty for Grosjean was a joke.

Not a terrible result, but i think they squandered it, they had the car to win but Kimi's "bad" qualy and Grosjean's strategy and penalty meant they could not.

If he could get second after being stuck behind Massa the first stint...

No logic in this opinion. Vettel would have fallen behind Button whenever he stopped and if it was a tyre issue he would have done better than Hamilton because Button's tyres were older when he had to pass. It was quite obviously the failing KERS that could not stand the heat.

Great race for Hamilton, well controlled and all went well for him for a change. Great race and track to start for pole on.

Kimi is a champ and the Lotus is phenomenal on the tyres. This bodes well for the championship. Lotus strategy worked well for them today.

Vettel is pure racing at this point in his career. The RB is certainly not the best at this stage and considering the whole of Sebs race third was a superb result.

Actually they still need enough fuel in the car for a sample after the race, they just don't have to get to the pits under own power like in qualifying.

it was engine temperature not kers.
It was evident that to cool down he shifted at 17-17.5

Seems to me Kimi got a taste from Seb in Germany ...but roles reversed this race, but if Seb never had overheating KERS and a suspect fron wing he would have been in a better position o take Kimi..
