“But come race day I think we’re looking a lot better, I think that tomorrow is going to be such a degradation tyre battle that hopefully tomorrow we can still be able to do a one-two.”
I think it was stated by Albon that they prepare setups on the simulator for each driver. They are likely not wildly different, but only differ in small details like anti-roll bars and front wing angle. The rest comes from the cockpit with the differential tuning, brake bias, etc.chrisc90 wrote: ↑23 Sep 2023, 18:34"We" probably refers to his side of the garage.
It would be interesting if RB bring the same setup for each driver at the start of the weekend. The driver and team tweak it to suit the drivers feel. Anyone know if the cars start out identical or whether drivers have a option in finding the setup prior to the weekend
The asphalt had lost grip for some reason. Teams were complaining about it. AMR were barely faster than 2022.Xyz22 wrote: ↑23 Sep 2023, 20:35Perez only improved by 0.059 from last year. That is embarrassing considering how quicker the RB 19 is compared to the RB18
