1 and 2 drivers or just 1 driver that's better than most he's been against?
Probably been discussed, but I dare bet there isnt many, if any drivers at all, who could jump into the RB19 and drive it aswell as Max does.
Standard of Max's driving is just unrivalled lately. In my opinion anyhow.
Max is way better than Perez. That's a given, I'm sure we can all agree.
As to driving the RB19 better than anyone else? Maybe so. But it may be that the RB19 just suits Max's style perfectly. We saw this with Seb at RB with the blown diffuser. I don't see Max falling from the tree like Seb did, but I also doubt Max will hang around like many have, so he won't find himself having a bad year or two in a car that doesn't "get him".
Recently, Max has been driving beautifully. He's benefitted from having no pressure either externally or from his team mate, of course, and that definitely helps. We've seen others drive likewise when the car has been the class of the field - it's what one expects from the top drivers after all.
Would we this calm performance if Max had, for example, Fernando in the other car? Perhaps not. Or maybe we would. We'll never know.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.
