Lotus seem to have a good car. A very good car.

You can't say lotus have a very good car. We don't know about the fuel load, about DRS.

Button and Massa could go 3 tenths faster in this S3 alone, we don't know yet ATM

I wonder. How much of that (Schumi) is Schumi finally getting a handle on how to drive the Pirellis, and how much is it change in the tyres? I'm hoping for Schumacher to outscore Rosberg - more podiums too. I'm not betting on them winning races quite yet though. Not on merit yet anyways. Maybe if the guys ahead of them crash or have reliability issues in the odd attrition race.

Having said that - my statement has nothing to back it up; really. We haven't even seen the car yet!

MSC with a 1.18.561 & follows it with a 1.19.082

RAY dont count the eggs before they hatch. Hell Mercedes could even win WDC & WCC & they could slide furthur down to 5th place or 6th place without anywhere near a Podium. We have not even seen the car. Completely unfair to make predictions.

Anyways MSC with 1.19.485 now & pits.

Lap times mean nothing. Schumi was fastest at the very last test in 2011. These look like low fuel runs but we cant say that for certain. I am still happy to see him top the times though. Just hope the W03 delivers more than a few podiums and perhaps a win [-o<

ROFL JET. They nailed the EBD when the could not during the full second. They are running light compared to others (atleast no reason for RBR to do a Light fuel run now).

That & EBD constitues around 1-1.5s of time. Even with a SWB Mercedes with their EBD & hot blowing gained 1 FULL Second atleast. Not as much Mclaren or RBR but even then quite a lot. I doubt if any of the 2012 cars will be able to cross last season's lap times anyway.

BTW Mercedes with EBD is only 0.6s faster than RBR. LOL. Still a long way to go

Ricardo's lap times are fantastic. So many Consistent 1-20's & 1-21's. Its amazing. I dont know why they would do a low fuel run all day. I think STR has had the most consistent Lap times along with RBR today.

Webber, Button and Ricciardo(RB, MCL, STR) All have extremely good traction with no slippage(relative).

Williams wobbling in these corners....

TBH, how many times have we seen little teams pull out some great lap times in testing and then be not all that great when the season starts? Even the big teams, if you recall Ferrari's dominance of testing last year, can show false pace. Laps and diagnostic data is what they'll be working on here, rather than finishing top of the time sheets.
