i think this shows the abillity of Schumacher to build up a decent team. There are a lot of good drivers, but you need more than driving skills to help your team improve. I would guess in terms of feedback to the engineers Schumacher is the guy you want to have, especially with his long formula one experience.
He also surrounded himself with good people. Plus Todt was a great TP.

Yeah. I wonder why! Race set-up may be or its because he made another mistake in his 2nd run?

Have to say that as much as I dislike Maldonado, just an unjustifiable personal view, I am so happy for Williams that they are back in there mixing it with the bigger teams.

He did, afai can recall he had a huge lock up on going into turn 3 in his last q3 run.

He locked up the front right in the 1st sector.

It was a big lockup into the third turn (I think). Brawn also said that they ran near their ultimate pace in Q2 and didn't have as much in reserve as apparently McLaren did.

Some time back I mentioned the FI factory (or at least some there) suggested NH would beat PDR quite comfortably as the data showed he was quicker than both PDR and AS last year even with the limited car time he had.

Early day's, but so far times seem to back that up

This is PDR's make or break year and I have a fear I know which of the two it's likely to be...

I think they made a huge mistake booting him and the design team, Ferrari had a decent car which had a good basic concept and they only lacked in the EBD. Had they carried the concept to 2012 with the some evolution they could've easily been up the sharp end I'm tempted to say.

Speed trap results are very interesting: http://www.formula1.com/results/season/ ... _trap.html

The gulf between McLaren and Mercedes ahead of Red Bull and Ferrari is vast. Especially surprising considering the amount of downforce evident on the McLaren at least. Doesn't bode well for the next couple of races for those teams.

There is only medium and soft. All top teams are running medium except for Ferrari who run soft in Q1. Q2 and Q3 all front runner are running soft.
