Only real worry is that McLaren were very quick again. They were probably the quicker car unless Max had a lot of pace in reserve - in clear air Lando lapped ~3 tenths quicker than Max on average
It's just sprint weekend blues. Their pace on Friday was ahead of everyone else especially in sector 1. Track changed from friday to saturday to sunday and probably pushed them out of the window a little bit but not enough to be overcome in the GP. Mclaren seemed to get faster without changes to the cars. Still, Max made it look easy and Max wasn't complaining at all on the radio. Not once did he complain about
anything handling wise. He was still setting fastest laps of the race in all stints, did the fastest lap of the race, did not have a single track limits violation and did not put a wheel out of the racing line all day. It was an incredibly calculated drive.
As for Perez....well...that's a different issue entirely...
I''m not saying the margin was big like Suzuka, but not every weekend can be like Suzuka/Spa.
