Bahrain 2014 was fine, but far from the best.

I suspect that he meant that he had more pace in his pocket before the engine had to be pushed harder.

A couple of laps in Bahrain are enough to savage a hole season?

Ah, and to answer your "challenge", just from the top of my head: Canada 2011, China 2011, 2010 Germany, Brazil 2012, even Valencia 2012 all FAR superior to this years Bahrain GP, just to name a few.

This year the Pole Sitter failed to win 10 times!!!
Last Year the Pole Sitter failed to win 9 times!
Last Year, despite the Merc being a great qualifying car and a poor race car, it still didnt have as many winners from 2nd or lower. So action for 1st place, was more this season than last.

Even in 2012 with the Tyre lottery, the pole sitter failed to win 10 times, just like this year.

Nico was having troubles and they decided early to 'down' the power on the Mercedes of Lewis to prevent a repeatance of a similar occasion earlier in the year. The tension inside the cockpit surely had lewis decide for himself that he'd rather drive a less-powered car then to end up having no drive at all.

Fanboyism really is a desease! A couple of laps in Bahrain are enough to savage a hole season?

Hamilton deserved it. What a great start, he did everything perfect. Leading and maintaining the gap. Congratz Lewis, you delivered.

I wonder whether Rosberg's car was already compromised at the start. I really didn't want either car to fail so we could experience a showdown right down to the last corner of the last lap and the finish line. What a shame. And if the other car had failed instead, it would've been nothing but heartbreak...

haha none of them even comes close.
But maybe the essence of what racing is all about is not what you are looking for in a race.

edit: Bahrain 2012? Are you trolling now Juzh? Come on now.

Who Cares, Merc are the Best, and Lewis is the Best Merc driver.

Fantastic season, Lewis has passed Alonso in most wins table, Next year he will pass Seb.

What was the approximate time loss per lap for Rosberg due to the ERS failure today?
Dear FIA, if you read this, please pm me for a redesign of the Technical Regulations to avoid finger nose shapes for 2016! :-)

At one point I noted he was 2.5seconds / lap slower than his best lap of the race. That was about mid distance I think.

Agree there were some signs perhaps even the start. I don't know whether Nico was running the same engine as he got in Qually, but I remember he got a new floor after he damaged it in FP3 iirc. Wonder whether there was more to it.

Conspiracies will come soon....brace yourself
