PR disaster? No, if it is successful, it will be either a masterstroke, or no one will remember that bit after this weekend. If it doesn't work (much more likely, IMO, and the reason not to attempt it), it will probably be 'good effort shame it did not work' since Honda is still seen as having less of a extra mode for Q3, and thus to lag behind Ferrari and also Mercedes, I think most will find it understandable, and Verstappen would anyway be top 5. And if it really goes wrong, then Gasly will get the blame, and a miserable summer holiday.

Oversteer at the exit of last turn and then a mistake on the T1 locking brakes. It could have been 2-3 tenths faster

RB definitely knows how to develop a car during the season, it feels like it's getting faster every race.

Ooooh
It was awesome job from Max .. Welldone . A deserved first poleposition.
The best F1 driver now without any doubts.
The race is tomorrow .. The start should be good.
If we secured P1 in turn1 we would achieve 50% of the win

Oh yesssss

Merc has rear gunner, Ferrari has rear gunner, but none for Max. It's going to tough strategy wise.

Same with Honda, we know how to maximize Spec3 now. Everything coming together nicely!

Fantastic! Excluding Germany, what's the start performance off the line like for RB Honda in dry races?

Not good from my memory, but what does everyone else think?

Last year the results at the Hungaroring were a bit disappointing, with VER with a PU failure and RIC ending 4th. Let's see how this year goes. I have high hopes for even the first pole of VER!
Yesss, RB getting better and better, and then VER absolutely on it! Nice for him. And surprised to see Bottas 2nd. Hopefully not a bad start again.
