CaterhamF1 CT-01 Renault

First of all, sorry to the mods if there is a Caterham 2012 thread, i cant find it to post this in.

New sponsor joins Caterham, Visa. http://www.caterhamf1.com/news/2012/vis ... am-partner

This is surly on the back of Alex Rossi getting a FP1 seat and im sure it is the second of many North American sponsors to join the team behind GE who joined for a deal reportedly worth €35m last year. Id recon this is a €20m a season deal, and if the reports that Blackberry were to follow GE last year that never materialised due to the Lotus/Team Lotus thing. Id say that Blackberry could now inject a decent ammount of sponsorship now as that issue has gone.

Looks like Caterham will become one of the better funded teams this year, as their budget this year is a estimated €120m to €130m. Whitch is on a par with Force India and Toro Rosso. All they need to do is get to that €180m+ mark and they will be in the Lotus/Mercedes region of budget.

I count anywhere between 1 and 912930584 depending on how you determine exactly what a "change" is.

First of all, the colour  then you got the red bull style flap where the first flap is fixed and the top flap is adjustable, the endplate had moved outwards and the cascade has changed, camera placements. Why are a lot of teams now converging to this style of front wing similar to RB?

Cause its the best front wing design you can have for a pretty neutral base ground car, only mclaren rly have their own FW but they also have a totally diff design philosphy on the car going back a few years.

Looks like they are still around 1.5 sec off the mid field.

If they remain like this for whole season, I can't see Heikki in this team next year.

they will close the gap, but i fear they need money to refine the car.
The basic car is good just that it's not super detailed or refined.

I'ts a nice clay pot without the smoothing and teasing necessary to make it a show piece.

Whta an interesting statement, would you mind elaborate on that as to how you came to such an affirmative conclusion?

But they got 30million extra this year for finishing 10th in the Constructor for 2 years in a row there for being upgraded to another class in the money pot.
