Updated vs AUS broadcast. Multiple updates including font size/dimensions, opacity, tyre compounds

That is certainly way better.

Font size is less of a problem, font design is the problem tho.

also,
- How many positions they gained from quali position is utterly pointless.
- Showing drivers' last name in full with team logo ONLY is totally meaningless
- Always show, just never hide the timing info (lap time in Quali/FP and time gap in race)

They can show full name sometimes to inform viewers of any kind for sure, but do so by keep showing the timing info.

At one point there was the timing of a lap (in qualifying) on screen, and next to the timer was a big icon of a stopwatch.. Yeah we get it, save us some screen space and just show the timer!

Certainly no need for full names once times start being posted.

They need to have the driver number next to their names on the timing tower, either permanently, or certainly more often. If they used a more practical font that's narrower, there would be plenty of space for them. That way fans new and old, can start to easily relate drivers to cars, and the numbers have a bigger purpose.

I just noticed that until last year you could see who's on track who's in the garage from the screen timing info but now cant. Seriously what's wrong with them.

Was there this annoying slashing sound during the pre-race grid run-down at Australia? Really annoying. The commentator is talking us through it, no need to put sound effects in. Trying to make it sound like a video game, it seems.

Why have they removed the telemetry graphic that showed throttle. brake, speed, gear. etc. Now we get a terrible obtrusive real time top speed that doesn't know when to turn red, for no reason. Also some awful steering wheel indicator with paddle shift indicators........

They have seriously regressed and are now providing a remedial HUD

Anyone else find the chirping sound effect every time they went to pit radio clips annoying?
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

I like it, because it also seems to help the tv presenters that they need to stop talking for 30 seconds so they don't talk thru the radio message.

Overall i'm pleased with how they are covering the race. For sure it's better then last years!

One positive, that I'm super happy about: Was them not showing the crowd, radnom and worthless celebs in the pits/paddock, who are always just talking and not even watching the sport, during any session, especially the race. We pay to watch the sport, and finally they show nothing but the track action during the race. TV director became obsessed with children in the crowd last year.
