He was very conservative through turns 10 and 11 on the 2nd lap in Q3. If he could have kept the first lap he would have pushed harder through there. Certainly left a 10th maybe 2 in that section.
We can see in the S3 that he stepped off the throttle a little compared VER who stays full throttle. Not sure if he was being conservative, but the instability of the car forced to leave the throttle a little to avoid losing the car or avoiding snaps.
