That nose to sidepod area is unbelievable. So much going on there!

I think the step is partly to allow them to have some space between it and the camera pods, look how intricately shaped those camera mounts are.

That must have been in the pipeline since the end of testing. That's a huge update.

I love the "melted" look of the camera mounts. The nose strake is strange. We need a better view of it really. Lots of little add on bits on the lower horizontal spiltter/bargeboard thingy.

Have they created a diffuser under the nose with the strake? In from of the t-tray it looks like a raised section that mimics the rear diffuser. If so, they just bolted on a shed-load of downforce!

Nahh, the area is rather too small for it have such a significant impact as a diffusor, the airflow will probably spill too much sideways under yaw, they are using to channel as much clean airflow to the back of the car.

I just dont understand with all the restrictions of wind tunnel and CFD runs, how can Mercedes car be so complicated Hats of to them, this looks a huge update and it really does look like a front difuser this does.

Maybe the 'front diffusor' was the reason for the long wheelbase from the beginning.

Again, it's too high and too smaller area.
