Renault R30

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Thats better, I thought my sense of proportion was in need of recalibration.

But this is typical Renault. Starting the season of with more cheating.. [-X

Thought it couldn't be next years car. Bob bell would be for the guillotine!

Good to see a Jordan back on track though. :D

It seems the CGI renders were also a quick paint job:

A bit lazy from renault, unless they got ING back as a sponsor.

I can not see AT ALL that this is the car that will race in the first race and there is no reason to attack the cars so much for lack of development. These launches are no more then the photo opt for the new liveries IMO. The first test will be a better measure of how the cars will look at the first race. I expect to see a variety of aero solutions over the testing days and the first race we will see what the cars REALLY look like. I love the colors of the new Renault but the red could have been used in different places then they are now..

No DZRTR, that's just another old car with new paint. Look at the front wing for a start...

I definitely dig that livery.

Definitely nice paintjob......Interesting inboard side brake duct details....I thought they are not supposed to have all that appendages anymore?
