Yawn.
Race sums up the season.

Hopefully 2024 is different, but can’t see it.

ahahaha most retarded penalty maybe ever, norris intentionally turns into a driver on the inside from the outside when both are still well on track and then perez gets a penalty. f**k these stewards

We have cost/development cap to thank for that. I can't see how anyone can gain a second more on whatever else they find in the winter

Perez was nowhere near the apex, understeering like crazy and sawing at the wheel. The stewards tend to take a dim view when you’re not in proper control of the car.

That penalty was a joke but Perez could've just waited for the next straight given his tyre advantage over Lando and George just take no risks. Provided us with the only action all race at least.

This is why post-season car design data should be shared between teams. Cap spending, multiply R&D knowledge by10. Then divide dominant seasons by 100.

Depressing if this ends a RB1-2
The truly depressing thing is it’ll probably be like this till 2026.
It was the same in 14-20 era.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

Good thinking from leclerc to let perez go, but he should have pulled a perez 21 and block russell to no end in final sector. Still he would have to judge it almost perfectly to place himself inside the 5s and force Russel out. Merc can than baby stewards for gifted P2.

How would that work?

That's the tricky part, being less than 5s behind with Russell being more.

LV should be the finale of the season. Seems the right fit. This AD track is a stinker, even 21’ was a stinker until Masi decided to intervene. Surprised LM, who are all about show/drama/excitement, are willing to overlook changing the season ending race.

Each team brings their data to the last race, and gives a copy to each team. So 1450M value for 145M investment. Even the small teams add value to the pool with their R&D investment.

Make engine manufacturers do the same. They would actually bring some stuff to market if it wasn't top-secret.

Ferrari may have lost 10m, but they will gain some wind tunnel time. Not sure if this is good thing for Merc since they will have a completely new car in 2024

Alonso brake testing Ham

Pathetic. Rent free
I think he was trying to get DRS but poorly executed and dangerous
He was practically off the circuit and getting a track limit violation. What more could he have done?

If he wanted to safely give up the place to get DRS he should have committed to the inside and backed off much sooner
