Not the same, massa was offered no choice n he was not competitive with the former rule, failed to beat his team mate, not because he was not interested in f1. While button has only obviously lost to Alonso for one season only. He even beat Hamilton for more than one season.NathanOlder wrote: ↑07 Nov 2017, 11:59Exactly, Massa had no interest in 2017 but look what happened.
Circumstances change, so never say never
What ? Button says he has no interest in F1 for 2018, and your talking about Massa's suspension ?? Im saying Felipe said he was done, and retired, yet came back for another year as someone managed to persuade him. And im saying Jenson could easily come back if someone were to persuade him. Never say neverCarinni wrote: ↑07 Nov 2017, 12:15Not the same, massa was offered no choice n he was not competitive with the former rule, failed to beat his team mate, not because he was not interested in f1. Very unlucky massa couldn’t have claimed one more victory due to suspension failure, paddy claimed he could have won with good margin according to telemetry data
I meant while button may need someone to persuade but massa doesn’t, as massa simply didn’t want to stop, he was forced to, so when there is a seat, he comes back, need no one to perusade. So button is harder to come back, really need strong persuasion.NathanOlder wrote: ↑07 Nov 2017, 14:50What ?
