Looks to me like Oatley modified the MP4/17 radically enough to perform well between the new cars this year... it least it will have to be good enough for the next couple of races.
After that, we will be seeing the MP4/18, which will be one hell of a racecar. Adrian newey is very confident the car will be a big succes, and even David Coulthard, who formerly stated McLaren will not be able to compete Ferrari for the crown, felt he has a good chance in fighting the Ferrari's with the awaited MP4/18.
The german magazine 'Bild' reported the new Mercedes engine will be a shock to Ferrari, as it may be able to produce around 930hp at 19.700 rpm :shock:
I must say... if this all is true (and I really hope, because without rain we still get Ferrari's winning all the time right now), Ferrari is dead meat 8)
