Is it just me, or has Bridgestone gone more square-shaped in their tires? Seems like they're not quite as square as Michelin, but are much more angular than their previous year.

I think they considered wider tires going into Monza last year. I dunno about this year's tires; there hasn't been much talk about it.

yea bridgestone did develope more square-shouldered tyres...no doubt because michelin whooped their arses so many time in 2003 and that they had to whine about it ....

They previously ran a narrower tire due to drag considerations.

It appears as though they've seem fit to optimise traction instead.
