Emeryson Cars
Based in: London (1956-60), Send (1960-62) Founded: 1949 (active 1961-1962) Principal: Paul Emeryson |
Paul Emery was a typical 'specials' builder of his era, moving from front- engined 500cc cars to build his first front- line racer in 1953. Using the old Connaught works, a batch of rear-engined cars were created.
These in turn were used by others such as Equipe National Belge and later Scirocco, who took over the Emeryson project in 1962. Paul Emery went on to many more projects including a successful series of oval track midget cars.
