Scuderia Lancia
Based in: Turin Founded: 1906 (active 1954-1955) Principal: Gianni Lancia |
Upon the death of Vincenzo Lancia, his son Gianni formed plans for a racing programme, initially with sports cars.
Financial problems led to Fiat taking over the company in 1955 and handing the cars to Ferrari, which continued to modify and race them as the 801. Lancia went on to represent Fiat in rally and sports cars.
