Not the right choice but they don't want the Honda driver. I bet he's out of a seat after next year.
Depends how much longer Stroll sticks around as an Aston driver. I can see him moving into sportscar once Aston's hypercar project is fully up and running
If I come across as blunt, I apologise, it's my ASD. Sometimes, like an F1 car aqua-planing, it gets out of my control.

Formu1a Uno reports that Lawson will partner Verstappen next season
Red Bull is negotiating the exit of Perez, who can count on a very significant penalty. Monday shareholder meeting. The other choices have already been made: Lawson would be Verstappen's teammate, Hadjar in Racing Bulls
I think Lawson has the fighter spirit needed to survive and do well. Albon is a very good driver, but he lacked the mental fortitude to survive.

Bottas is 100% coming back. He’s still incredibly consistent and not incident prone. He would make a perfect Red Bull 2nd driver or a good driver for any other team.

It's funny how in F1 you're only as good as your last race or quali.
Bottas had 23 bad races and qualifying (I'm exaggerating a little bit), now he had 1 good one and he's back to being a good driver.

If Bottas scores points tomorrow (I think it's unlikely because his race pace is always awful), his name will be speculated in several places.

In the previous race, it was Zhou's turn, who according to some journalists, now leads the list of drivers applying for a spot at Cadillac.

Cadillac needs a driver who has excellent technical feedback first and foremost. They will not be at the sharp end, so development skills should be top of list.

Bottas didn't forget how to drive once he left Merc in 2021.

He's a good runner up driver who will be there to collect the points behind your number 1 driver and take the win if your number 1 has a bad race.

I'd have had him on the radar if I was in team RBR to be fair. Same as Sainz.

Even at Mercedes Bottas left a lot to be desired. For me, Hamilton only lost the 2021 championship because Masi wanted it and because Bottas didn't take points from Verstappen in the races where Mercedes was much better than RedBull. Bottas was being questioned very much that season (and the previous one) so many called for Russell's promotion before the end of the season.

Bottas has always been very fast in qualifying, his issue has always been mid race craft. Even in the Mercedes he was never able to race through the field. If he started at the front, he was fine.

Bottas may not have forgotten how to drive, but regulations and cars are changing, and he has to adapt. It's not about forgetting to drive; it's about adapting. Just like Hamilton after 2021.

Bottas has approached every team, and none hired him. It's an image issue; Red Bull won't hire a driver who was outcast even for backmarker teams since spring.

Perez was looking like he was out of F1 when he was signed by Red Bull...

Lawrence Stroll's son was in the team, so it was a no-brainer that Lance wouldn't make room for their status purchase, Vettel. It was fall when Pérez was fired, and every seat was already occupied. Pérez drove strongly at the end of the season and was P4 in the standings. At that time, Pérez was a good catch. And indeed he was 2021 strong wingman.

Bottas, on the other hand, had been on the driver market since spring, and yet no one had hired him. It would look demeaning if Red Bull had to go with Bottas and not their junior academy. I still think Bottas would be a good pick, but there is an ego issue going on at Red Bull.

Alonso to RB 2025 one year contract accepted by both him and team, hit it hard see what they get.

An all or nothing year of shear abandon from both.

Catch net of Alpine for 2026 if it didn't get anywhere, with his "ahem" contacts in the trade

He can't even finish a race. Remember when we thought it was a big deal when he didn't make Q3 ? Now he can't make Q2. He has no form. He's cooked.

Whispers about Sainz & Antonelli swap for 2025, this to play Antonelli in away from the "blast furnace " of Internet public opinion.
