Jordan 199 - Chassis numbers

Post

Hi all.

I am looking for information on the Jordan 199 series of chassis built for the 1999 season.

Does anyone have information on how many cars / chassis were manufactured? The Giorgio Piola book for that season suggests 6 were built, but I have seen a chassis build plate listing that car as chassis 010.

Hoping the knowledge pool here can help!

Thanks

The 010 is possibly a showcar, in 2001 Jordan built 2 showcars with chassis number 011 and 012, the numbers of two drivers, for Honda HQ in UK and Japan. Those showcars are not counted in the normal production numbers.
And if you saw it on Bring A Trailer, it's actually a 1998 Jordan chassis

As far as I know, six chassis were built. I read the book Formula 1 yearbook 1999-2000 a long time ago and it said that, in fact, six chassis were built. Do you want each chassis' racing history from the 1999 season or where they are now?
