Albon just a second behind him pitted on time and lost nothing i dont buy your theorysearch wrote: ↑16 Mar 2025, 15:03The first miss today wasn't really a strategic choice. The team actually called Tsunoda in the lap Piastri spun, but a moment to late for him to react on time. Others behind benefitted from having more time to prepare a pit stop that lap.
The lap after, the SC was deployed, and they decided to stay out, probably hoping for conditions to improve. That was a mistake, but the damage was done already at that point.
What I said is that it's not a strategic choice when they shout "box box box box box!" but Tsunoda stays on track.Bill wrote: ↑16 Mar 2025, 15:12Albon just a second behind him pitted on time and lost nothing i dont buy your theorysearch wrote: ↑16 Mar 2025, 15:03The first miss today wasn't really a strategic choice. It WAS a strategic MISS to shout box box box too late. Yuki didn't stay on track, he was already PAST the pit entrance when they yelled BOX BOX BOX.search wrote: ↑16 Mar 2025, 20:43What I said is that it's not a strategic choice when they shout "box box box box box!" but Tsunoda stays on track.Bill wrote: ↑16 Mar 2025, 15:12Albon just a second behind him pitted on time and lost nothing i dont buy your theorysearch wrote: ↑16 Mar 2025, 15:03The first miss today wasn't really a strategic choice. F1TV onboards are not sync, so no idea if there was a chance for him to make it, but at that point, he definitely didn't stay out because the team was hoping for a red flag or whatever.
