Well, it’s now or never with Newey design input for the AMR25.

If we assume that they will bring their main upgrade package delayed in Barcelona (FW rules), Newey still has ~1 month until production needs to start.
This Sunday will be 3 weeks since testing. There could be upgrades for Bahrain(6 weeks from testing).
Even if there are some very low-hanging fruits for Newey to harvest and he is already working on the AMR25, his inputs need to be validated in CFD and the tunnel, before even production can start. That's not a process of just some days.

I personally could imagine that he will help with the AMR25, as Stroll will beg him to do so, but maybe just in a consulting role. I guess Newey could be already very useful if the AMR25-team only can ask him for his opinion of planned steps, especially regarding the floor (ground effect). He could help the team that they don't fall into the trap of bouncing again, trying to ad downforce. His opnion about the mechanical side of the car. etc.
Remember a modification doesn't count as a new part. Many times they can usebthe same floor just with edited skirts, diffuser add or remove guides and we will never know it because they don't have to list it in FIA upgrades as new parts.

Chain's circuit layout is packed with slow speed and medium speed turns. 'AMR24' was competitive in quali spec last year.
Unless 'AMR25' is a departure from last years car characteristic; it should be competitive (at least on one lap pace).

It's also packed with high speed corners and long straights. It's quite the litmus test for an F1 car.

Hello all! This is my first post. There is a great pic of Alonso going over the gravel and loosing control of the car... how do i popst the pic? You can see it in this link
Oh my goodness! You don't know what a favor you've done me. I've been looking for something like this for days. And, honestly, I had my doubts.

I'm giving you 100 points; since this is your first post, I think you deserve it.

I haven't been able to read the forum these past few days. There have been technical issues; pages wouldn't load. In case no one mentioned it before, I think Lance is doing well in the wet.

We'll see how it goes at the next race. Things aren't how they start, but how they end.

Pfff... what a relief!!!
