i've always supported haas and i feel like they have potential this year, depending on how ferrari shapes up. previously in the past most haas performance has been similar to ferrari performance on a lower level. like for example 2020&21 where both teams were at the bottom of their respective "packs" and 24 where they were very competitive just as the Ferrari would challenge for wins the haas was in the points etc. depending on the issues these seem to be impacting both teams with similar areas involving ride height and suspension.

Mostly similar things as the above article, but a little more detail.

The implication that they would produce the updates based on theory alone and then test them in the wind tunnel/CFD afterwards seems crazy but I guess that speaks to how desperate they might have felt in Australia.

Also:
“If it works, Komatsu reckoned the performance could be even stronger than in China, where Esteban Ocon and Ollie Bearman finished seventh and 10th on the road then got promoted two places each by Ferrari's double disqualification.”

It seems like Haas seem to think this car has extremely high potential if that is the case. I wonder, because we also hear from Ferrari that their car has “potential” or “has yet to show their true pace,” if there is a common problem. This could be fundamental issues like wind tunnel correlation or shared components like the rear suspension. I’m speculating more than anything but would not be surprised to see that be the case.

This can't be an entirely new design, surely? It's got to be some kind of "cut and paste" job with a section from an older floor
