He's there for the money...lol why put in extra work if you're gonna get paid for the bare minimum anyway?

So all are saying Lewis need time, becoz Ferrari has different setups, engine modes and all stuff new. And Lewis not able to master it. Is Lewis the first driver to change a team? Others all cope with new systems. But the world champion is slow is coping up with new world. Wow
I don't think Ferrari would do that. The team's difficulty in building the best car isn't because they're favoring a driver, it's because they just can't make the best car... a "skill issue" as my niece would say...Cs98 wrote: ↑25 Apr 2025, 14:09Honestly these Italian articles just remind me of how it was at Merc. Always a bunch of half-baked theories about how the car is limiting Lewis' performance in this way or that way. It would be a mistake for Ferrari to go down the route that Merc did and invest a bunch of time and energy solving for "car issues" that probably have less to do with the car and more to do with an aging driver. You have a brilliant Leclerc in the team who is consistently delivering, time to give him Schumacher status and just work to give him whatever he wants.
The point is that if you are trying to solve "issues" with feedback from a driver that is having a crisis of self-confidence, you'll just end up chasing your own tail not knowing what is a car issue and what is a driving issue. You have to listen to the feedback from the guy who is performing well because they are the ones pushing the car to its real limit. In this case Charles, and if he likes the balance then you just need to find performance.ScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑25 Apr 2025, 14:26I don't think Ferrari would do that. Nothing about what the team or Leclerc said indicates they're aiming to drastically change the car's current balance, only that they need pace and a wider operating window. So I'm not too worried about this.
He needs to get over himself and do what it takes.
It was a sprint. Not an actual race. Nothing right now shows that Lewis is anywhere near contention for a race win over Charles right now. He is losing out in every type of corner, what is the excuse now?ringo wrote: ↑25 Apr 2025, 16:48I think there is this call to jump and slam the money and marketing button.
It's all over the media and in the threads.
People want Hamilton out of the Ferrari seat ASAP. Ralf Shumacher suggesting the guy should retire after 2025.
It's amazing how much higher the scrutiny is over this move.
Lewis still has the only win and pole for Ferrari this year. And I have a feeling he's going to get the next win before Charles if the chance presents itself. He is still a winning machine.
The season is long folks. A lot of these conclusions being drawn now will look silly in 6 months time.
Just let the guy paint the masterpiece. It's coming together. You cannot see it now, but it's loading.
The car needs to improve and it will with feedback from both drivers.
A sprint is a race. Just marketed differently. There is literally no difference between driving a Grand Prix and driving a Sprint. The Sprint actually has a longer stint length than any single stint in the Grand Prix; be it with half the amount of fuel.SoulPancake13 wrote: ↑25 Apr 2025, 17:20It was a sprint. Not an actual race. True but this is age thing also no? I mean in my age i drive different on the limit than when i was 20 years old and it's not only experience that alter this.
Yes, I think that Lewis did not primarily believe he’d be trying for an 8th starting this year. He’s realistic and experienced enough to know that a. he was going to need time to adapt to the team and b. Ferrari, even in case of building the fastest car, was most probably not going to dominate in the last year of these regulations. Only given a dominant car he would have been sure of having a shot at the title, but even then he was always going to have a top-driver as a teammate while adapting to a new team on top of it.
I agree with this completely. Genuinely I think the last time Lewis tried to push the car beyond its limits in qually, was Austria 2022…. Ofcourse you don’t want to go beyond but you have to risk it every now and then
The Sprint is different but it’s still a race. As evidenced by Max winning so many of them. As is the qualifying for the sprint race.SoulPancake13 wrote: ↑25 Apr 2025, 17:20It was a sprint.
