Why FIA is addressing Massi? Because he is at the center of the polemic behind the Abu Dhabi race, which has had a lot of backlash from fans… The fact that the FIA is reviewing the situation and the decisions he made during that race of course will include his job as Race Director, they are addressing that and rightfully so.
Even the most competent person makes mistakes, yet only a competent person knows how to fix those mistakes.

If F1 was led by somewhat competent people, the regulations would include the possibility to appeal decisions at a fully independent judge or committee of people that actually know law.
Instead we ended up with sh*tty excuses and the FIA blaming Masi in a last-ditch effort to hide their own incompetence.

Slightly more on-topic: It actually wouldn't surprise me if the W13's livery features a depiction of Lady Justice to raise awareness for judicial independence...

you'd think a new black racing suit infers black livery again.. I was looking forward to a silver arrow.

Maybe we see a mainly silver car with the black suits. That combo still looks good and would be a good compromise too.

Yes, i think Merc have already confirmed it will be back to silver. Maybe they have black accents here and there with a black suit for the team.

A black race suit would be fine with previous cars, look at the W10 for example,

I remember bottas saying in 2020 Russian GP that the black suits were making everything too hot in the cockpit.
I guess they might have changed the materials for the drivers to help with the heat.
Nevertheless, i expected balck and some silver accents on the race suit... but with budget cap i think sme design would be helpful to save money

The suits just don't look right without Bose on them, I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually.

The year mercedes switched to black overalls, the FIA also added a layer of protection (as communicated after Grosjean's crash later in the year). They went from two layers, to three layers of Nomex.
